Group Meeting

The group meeting was held on Sunday, June, 13, 2010 at a  Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, 8 East Mountain Road, Waterbury CT.  Travel documents, luggage tags and other information was distributed and discussed.  If you were not able to attend the group meeting your tour packages were all mailed out by Thursday, June 17, 2010.  If you have not received your package please call Joan at 203-758-7367.

Airline tickets, Passports, etc.

Both Air France and Iberia have issued all passengers e-Tickets.  You will only have to provide your name and your valid passport to check-in for your flights.  Don't forget to bring your passport with you on July 17.  You can't and won't get to Europe from here (U.S.A.) without it.  Also, please make sure your passport does not expire for at least 3 months after your departure date (October 17, 2010) from the U.S.A.

Also please remember to pack any prescription medicines or diabetic supplies in your CARRY-ON bag.  DO NOT PACK THESE ITEMS IN YOUR CHECKED BAGGAGE!

Airport Motor Coach Transfer Schedule (Arrow/Peter Pan)

Please plan to arrive at your pickup location no later than 15 minutes prior to departure to allow sufficient time for passenger boarding and baggage loading.  There will be two motor coaches going to JFK, one coach for Air France passengers and one coach for Iberia passengers.  Please note due to the different airlines' flight departure times, the motor coaches will be leaving at different times.

The YELLOW GROUP - AIR FRANCE coach will be the first to leave for JFK.  If you are booked on the Air France flight you must be on this motor coach or you will miss your flight.

Neither the tour operator or its agents are responsible if you miss your assigned coach transfer to JFK.

There is no overnight parking allowed the the Cathedral of St. Joseph parking lot, nor do we recommend leaving your vehicle at the commuter parking lots.

 

If you are providing your own transportation to JFK International Airport, please plan to arrive and check-in with the appropriate airline at least three (3) hours prior to your flight's scheduled departure time.

Saturday, July 27, 2010 to JFK International Airport:

• YELLOW GROUP –  AIR FRANCE

• Departs Hartford at 10:00 A.M.  from the Cathedral of St. Joseph Parking Lot on Asylum Avenue.  It's the parking lot at the rear of the Cathedral on Asylum Avenue and directly across from Asylum Hill Congregational Church. • Departs Waterbury at 11:00 A.M. from the Commuter Park & Ride Lot at I-84 Exit 23 & Hamilton Avenue (Route 69).  Motor coach will depart earlier if all scheduled passengers are on board.  Click here for a map of the Waterbury Pickup location.

• Departs Fairfield at 12:00 A.M.  from the Commuter Park & Ride Lot at I-95 Exit 22 & Round Hill Road.  Motor coach will depart earlier if all scheduled passengers are on board.  Click here for a map of the Fairfield Pickup location.

• Arrives at JFK International Airport Terminal 1, Air France at approximately 1:00 P.M..

• GREEN GROUP –  IBERIA AIRLINES

  • Arrives Fairfield - Commuter Park & Ride Lot at I-95 Exit 22 & Round Hill Road at approximately 10:15 P.M.

  • Arrives Waterbury - Commuter Park & Ride Lot at I-84 Exit 23 & Hamilton Avenue (Route 69) at approximately 11:00 P.M.

  • Arrives Hartford - Cathedral of St. Joseph Parking Lot on Asylum Avenue at approximately 11:45 P.M.

• GREEN GROUP –  IBERIA AIRLINES

  • Departs JFK International Airport Terminal 7, Iberia Airlines, approximately 75 minutes after the flight lands.  Check with Iberia Airlines for actual arrival terminal and time.

Last Minute Itinerary Changes

We have added an optional tour for the evening of July 19, 2010 in Vienna.  It is a KURSALON EVENING WALTZ CONCERT.  The cost is either 90 Euro or US$125 cash per person.  Please click here for further information.  If you would like to participate in this optional excursion, you must decide by the time you arrive in Vienna on July 18th.  A copy of the flyer was mailed to all tour participants.
